Why or what does it mean when my mouth and lips dry out right before I kiss a girl? ?

I'm really comfortable around girls and really flirtatious, however I haven't kissed or madeout with a ton, but quite a few. My lips get chapped, mainly dry and my tounge and mouth feel very dry, almost dry spit. Is it just nerves? can I fix it by just more expierience?
