Do eggshells release toxic fumes when they burn?

I want to try and carve an eggshell using a high voltage arc (i love messing with HV), but i don't want to do it if the eggshell's going to release a bunch of toxic fumes or go up in flames completely while i'm trying to do that. I know this is a bit of an obscure question, but any help will be appreciated.
